Hi Michele,
I'm busy with replies tonite..Here goes!
If I can suggest placing a tripod next to a tree of the same species as the subject, set the aperature to larger DEPTH of FIELD and with the closer tree commanding approx 1/3 of the frame, you could better show the texture of the bark, etc., and with someone near the subject trees to give scale to the tree sizes, a story would unfold.
Hope you don't mind me giving you my thoughts.

Well when I wrote this I was at work....Now Im home and you must be getting ready for work! lol

Great capture Michele . . . and the dappled sunlight makes for a very good accent.
I noticed the translation comments you made. If you don't see a translate button . . . you can find any comment that has one (like Alicia's) then copy / paste the text. The drop down let's you pick languages . . . just keep in mind Brazil is Portugeuse which looks like Spanish . . . but you can translate either way and again and again to get the idea of the message.
Ez's comment was: Magnificent conifers, Michele. Formidable, full atmosphere of colors and shades. Very pretty photo.
My Comment is - He's right! :)
