Hey Ian . . . tough exposure with the light like this . . . the blow out in the top right corner is the result . . . though this composition makes that a plus here (since it helps to define your subject). I might have tried some diffuse lighting in the front (at an angle) to help the exposure settings and give some more depth . . . but this shot would have been great in any case . . . what with that priceless look. As long as the face can be seen . . . you have a winner here . . . and, in fact . . . it's very well composed too. Nice work.

This is one fine super-shot-- Spud really knows how to lay on the guilt with the "look". Excellent close-up. Eye goop so typical. Tough exposure with the way the light is falling; well done.

My Dogue de Bordaux "Toro" has the same vitality but not the same energy reserve.
