These very old lakeland farms are scattered all over the Lake District in Cumbria, England, note the round chimneys, these mean it must be very old, however i do not know its exact age.
I was particularly attracted to the rusty roof which i thought gave the scene a bit of colour.
I waited 2 hours for the sun to come round and hit the sides of the building like in the photo.
It would not be possible to capture this farm during a sunset because of trees blocking the light, note the shadows from the trees just starting to creep in bottom left. And at sunrise there would be no light on the farm from this position.
