Kevin,
Your welcome, anyday my friend. Hopefully I will go down to Ennis this fall. Most of last years were shot with the EF-S 17-85mm, in which I had to crop too hard. I did rent a EF 300mm, but it was too much.
This year I will be armed with my new EF 70-200mm f/2.8L, IS, USM. Just about the right piece of glass for the job. ;)
I pretty excited about a Photo workshop coming up on the 16th, that I'm going to. This workshop is by Darryl Briggs and he is a Pro. He has been published in magazines such as Easy Rider, American Chopper, Biker, ect...

You will love all of his sites, ;)

PS. You should really like the shots I shoot on that day. LMAO

Kevin,
You have come a long way and passed me up on these kind of shots my friend. Nice crop, but it's just a personal thing of mine to keep it a little tighter?
Once again, well done indeed,
Marty

Marty, Thanks for you comments! I wanted to show the sense of speed so I left the foreground and background in the photo. There was very little cropping done to this photo. Only a small portion at the back of the car. I have attached a small version of the original. Thanks again for your help!

Excellent focus on this one Kevin, and great color saturation. Perfect sense of speed from both the blurred fore and background.

Kevin,
Tac sharp indeed, but loose the forground, background, or both.
Keep the main thing the main thing! You have mastered the shutter speed and f/stop, but you still need to learn, that croping with the lens is vital...
