About This picture was taken in the Rocky Mountain National Park just outside of Denver, CO; at this point it measured about 12,000 ft. above sea level. The shadows were manipulated to make the mountain silhouette more distinct. While we were on the top the temperature dropped 15 degree’s while those clouds moved in; the park rangers were very cautious about getting people out of the tundra area because of increased risk of getting struck by lightening.
