About From the church . . . I have jumbled up the stained glass window to make what I hope will be an interesting abstract. I have used minor cloning to "Heal" the abrupt cuts and allow for an easier flow of light and color without the harsh edges. Where two dislike elements were conjoined, I melted them . . . one into the other.

Bwa HAHAHAHAAA! Feeeeeeeeel the power . . . the incredible seduction of the dark forces . . . now young apprentice . . . go out and seduce another to join the dark side and you too can be a master!!!! :)

Thanks my brother!! Did I note you thanking somebody for comments now that they don't count?? Now that thank you's don't count towards the K-count . . . how do you propose stopping the "You're Welcome" comments! LoL! ;)

Very interesting idea and application. Kind of breaks up the monotony of just a straight stained glass photograph.

On the black background, these almost look neon-like.

Best wishes my brother,
Dave

You are right Doyle- words, philosophy (my faves) are artistic- it is just me that never saw it so. I am too set in my ways and categories. So you educate me. The basis is me not having done art, camera and computer til recently. So I am very "chuffed" (pleased!) you boost my confidence! Just looking at your variety taught me loads Doyle!

LoL!
Thanks Klaas! A bit confusing to the eye was the intent of the work so that actually sounds good to me! The next time they need another window I'd be happy to give tham a nickel's worth of free advice . . . "DON'T ASK ME!" Heheheheee

Mary:
I find it VERY difficult to believe you've not been called artistic. Poets are artists (IMO) by definition . . . and the work you do here on UF is extremely artistic . . . almost more art than photography. And combined with the philosophy and words . . . you have a unique presentation. In today's world . . . unique has become rare. MY work is not unique . . . at least not yet. Maybe you're called artistic behind your back? LoL!
I'm hoping chuffed is good but must confess that I have no idea what it means and have never heard it used before. You certainly have my best wishes . . . and ME?? A way with words???? Naaaahhhh!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~~

You did a very nice job here Doyle, I like the original, but this one is not bad at all. A bit confusing for the eye perhaps but though...... Maybe the next time when they need another window, you can give them some advice.
Take care my friend,

Klaas

Mary Slade   {K:40338} 8/31/2006
You certainly have a great way with words Doyle! I have never been called artistic in my life and I am so well chuffed! What I must say, is that everytime I look at this, I see more! How you thought of it I know not!

Thanks Michele . . . I knew YOU knew . . . but wanted to be sure everybody reading this didn't think I was unaware of the typo! LoL. I heard a Blue Collar comedian (Larry the Cable Guy) say that -- If Guns kill people (instead of people kill people) then he's blaming his pencil for all those misspelled words! :) . . . of course, it begs the point that there wouldn't be misspelled words if he had no pencil . . . but that's a political / philosophical point which when considered would ruin the comedic effect of the humor so I won't mention that . . . Oooooops, too late! :)

Jessie!
You like MY work better than the original artist and can say "Shame on me"? Ha! That's the kind of comment that really makes my day! Shame on anyone for preferring work that's not mine!!

Hmmmmmm . . . doesn't sound humble enough. Let's try again:

Jessie:
It's ok, the window artist tried hard but he just didn't have the 'Doyle' gene! Thanks so much for the complement!

Hmmmmm . . . Forget it . . . people like you make it hard for me to be humble! :)

Heheheheheeee

Warmest Regards,

Dear Doyle
That really is religious confusion which is actually a good thing.
Religion is good when puzzling people, making us belive in what is crazy to belive in:-), when making us humble and asking questions instead of being too "holy", intolerant towards other people and religions and too selfassured about one´s own interpretation of the holy scriptures.
For that reason I really like your photo!
Best wishes,
Annemette

Shirley:
I'm the Editor-in-Chief of The South Bay Beacon . . . published by a non-profit society (incidentally--it's a volunteer position). It goes to over 17 cities and several states and my committee, reporters and columnists have been very dedicated and of high caliber skills. I've had the helm for 20 months now and we've improved and expanded by 1/3rd. My circulation Chairman has his own committee under me . . . but I know little about it. I have 10-15 people on my staff and we publish bi-monthly. I also volunteer for the AKC Dog Club . . . do genealogy (The Beacon is a genealogical newsletter) . . . photography . . . own my own bird breeding business . . . oh, and work for a living as a Commander in High-tech Security. In my spare time . . . I play with my doggies!! :)
