Thanks so much for your input, Mary. As I mention to Shirley, something about this image bothers me, and perhaps its the stripes you mention. I'll give it another go when my mind is fresh and not frustrated from trying to think about it! :-D Any other ideas you have are certainly welcome.

Yep, this is my fave! I still think those two bright white stripes on the right should be toned down so they won't compete with the center part of the image.
You've chosen an interesting idea to explore.

Nice one as well, I like the rythm here, just the light strips on the right are distracting a bit my attention...

Thanks very much, I may rework it a little in post...there's something bugging me about it now that I look at it today. Maybe too dark in the center? I want an "underexposed" dark feeling, but maybe the center needs to be a bit more vibrantly red or something.
