it's "panning" Dear Engy and indeed needs practice to do it well, to pick the correct shutter speed to the object movement, something like what I have here: http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=1079269 ; have fun, best regards, Pawel

Wonderful capture Engy, I really like it,
But honeslty, if you like this kind of pictures, then having a tripod is a most.
This was an adviced given to me before buying my first advanced camera, buy the tripod before buying the camera .. I did .. e7em .. and I had to return it becuase it didn't cary my camera and got another one :)

and about the sharpen.. sorry because I used the night shot, and the boat was moving. and I didn't fix the sutter speed. so that's what happend to it!!

Hi ng,
I like this image because I have never been outside the US and have 'no clue' about the Nile. I was surprised at the Big City lights !

hi engy..i like this photo and the time that the shot was taken in..the colors are great and the tones also..the leveling of the building is very nice..the only thing that i prefered the boat more sharpen..that's because the title is nile trip an the beauty of the nile and this happey and enjoyment times on the nile is encluding this sailboats as a master scene and view so we have to focuse on it..not to make it or to blured or to be secondary view if this blure was from the speed of the boat or from the motion of it.i think you can try to fix it...still a nice work and scene
