Yeah, they were stunning. *sigh*

I'm uploading a video to my photobucket. I'll post it if it doesn't time out again like last night.

That would have been stunning to see!! Most I have got a glimpse of is a sea lion beside the ferry I was on in WA! Great capture!

Thank you Rashed. I'm sorry if I sounded offended by your words. I did ask for constructive criticism and nothing you or Doyle said upset me.

What I didn't mention before is I actually went on 2 dolphin tours. The first time my camera batteries died right when we got to the dolphins. Stupid of me not to carry a second set, I know. I was so angry at myself. They were coming right up to the boat. I probably could have gotten some much better shots. But I couldn't cause I had no battery power. Live and learn I guess. I'm just disappointed I couldn't get any decent pictures, because dolphins are my absolute favourite mammals. I have an obsession, you should see my bedroom and I wear a dolphin ring every single day. But like I said, if I wanted dolphins to pose I'd go to Sea World. lol :)

p.s. They were beautiful in person, I think I gained an even better appreciation for them, if that was even possible.

I know what you mean! I´ve taken shots of dolphins in Venezuela, Mexico and in Greenland and Iceland, but you never know when they are going to spin in the air or just go up to the surface for a breath of air. Good idea to make a collage of your shots to create a complete notion of their movement.
Best wishes,
Annemette

Brilliant to get all these dolphins! Great to capture at all to me! Good idea to put them together.

Dear Carlen, you do have graphic design skills and you do have very good eyes, never say other wise, just try more.

When I said that, I do beleive that Carlen is very Capable person and very well talented, that’s makes some one like me willing to see much more work out of her, I did not mean other wise .

I do have a great respect for this young lady and I do believe that she put a lot of hard work into the forums, and she try to learn and learn fast, which is a great thing to do
I am sure she will give me an image which worth entertaining my eyes, soon.

I also like the snap shots, don’t they some times over come most of the very high skilled Pro. work for their rare findings? well to me they do.

Still I wish you all of the very best my friend, and I "also mean this a lot".

I won't try to disagree with you on the fact that maybe these are snapshots but I mean... these are wild dolphins. It's not like they pose. I was lucky enough to get the shots that I did. That said, when I have more time, I will try and re-do this. I know the exposures are off and need to be fixed. For some reason I seem to have lost my graphic design skills... I used to have such a good eye and could do anything but I stopped for a few years and now... well, I'll redo this and call this one "not my best work". lol

Rashed's right here Carlen. Still . . . I have a deal of 'snapshots' I personally love. They're not art . . . but they're MINE!! :)
For this to work (and I LOVE the collage you're developing skill in) you would need some consistency between the shots..... for example - the top right, middle and left shots all have different exposure settings. If the left two were reversed there would be a 'flow' from the one exposure through the last exposure . . . dark, medium, light; instead of dark, light, medium. Middle right is too dark and the lower left has distracting elements.... Really too many issues (IMO) but I LOVE the strength you display in trying new things. Also . . . with this much blue I think you'd really do MUCH better with black borders!! Keep shootin' Carlen!!
:)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~

This is usually called snap shooting.
Photography, just have more to show than this, still it’s a good try ,wishing you all of the best.
