you're funny, too!! people could sit there all day and not even know to 1) look for this, and 2) wait for it. you are lucky! and a good eye, esp with the blowout of the bubble going to the left.

Thank you Doyle.. I just wasn't sure about attempting to show + tell a science project. To me the entire thing had a giant Eeeeew factor going on. I do agree with you on the focus being soft . . but for me each sharpening pixel ( if this makes any sense ) made the foam appear brighter as if it was a reflection from the camera, or a light bulb so I went with the soft focus. Thank you so kindly for your comments, and to look. It isn't all that pretty to view I know this much ! ha! Your friend, Michele~

Wow Michele . . . a discovery of interest and fortunately the camera was on hand, huh? This seems to have a unique pattern to it as well. Personally, there's a kind of Eeeeew factor when it comes to swimming in water that has that much surface tension . . . but who knows . . . it's likely natural (I hope I hope) and likely harmless too. Good Capture; great composition; interesting subject material and fine color. In my opinion, the focus is a tad soft . . . but it's a minor point . . . and the 'about' section was great to see . . . I like it when that feature is used and it helped here since I was thinking a jellyfish at first. :)
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~

It is not an attractive sight I realize but it is 'science' Rashed...
I am not into science but maybe more chemistry.
It was a surprise and shocking to me as it happened. I hope you are not saying something nice just because . ......
I always thankyou for your time and your comments, and I thank you again tonight.
Health & Peace my friend, Michele~

Hi Jim ! Thanks for checking in on me + this science project ... The bright patch is actually + honestly foam to the degree of bursting into a bubble that Pops.... it was sooo strange I was so happy to have my camera with me, but still I don't think people see this stuff every day... Not so many at UF so that accounts for many right? I have used 'no flash'.. There was a blasting sun outside .
Thankyou for your comment and sorry to rattle on , I got excited about this stuff...
Wishing you the Best, Michele~

This one had me puzzled until I read your explanation but I still can't figure out what that bright patch is. Whatever it is, it certainly adds interest. Nice shot.
