G'day Michele,
Yes, just a slang reference to Australia, seems to be a fairly popular abbreviation these days.

Me again Wayne. I don't mean to bother you but I am curious what Melbourne OZ means ? Is it a common/ slang reference to Austrailia? Michele~

Yep, I remember it now. I guess this shot looks more like Melb. Oz because the palm trees aren't so obvious (though we do have palm trees in parts of Melb. Oz).

Wayne an odd thinkg happened I remembered a picture I'd taken down the very same street almost a year ago of 'Melbourne Arcade' and a coment from someone in austraila remarking how it did not look like melbourne ,Austrailia. I looked it up and it was YOUR coment ! Do you remember ? Anyway I will add it as an attachment.... makes me wonder if it's the palms that make the difference or the empty street and color of the buildings ??? Your Friend, Michele~

same picture but slightly altered , pager 3 read the coment it's from You ! |

I guess Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is generally different to Melbourne Florida, though this image could have been taken in either - very interesting.

Thank You Wayne. I like the very colorful tropical influence in Fl. just NOT the huricannes. I see we both were(since I left) in Melbourne ! Michele Carlsen~
