Hi Marty,

Thanks for your support! I am also surprised by the lack of comments. The only thing I can figure is that there are not a lot of racing fans on this site.

Thanks again for your comments!!

Kevin,

This is a wonderful capture indeed my friend. I love the cropping and sharpness as well. I can't figure out why no more comments than 1. Only a handful of people on this site could pull this off... Award wining for sure...

I have seen many shots, where they use PS to dummy up speed and they get multitudes of comments. You use the camera only to shoot a great shot and get nothing?

Goes to show you the caliber of folks here on the site. They prefer fiction over truth. Go figure?

Well done my friend,

Marty

Hi Carlen,
You are correct it is difficult to get a clear capture at those speeds and also show a sense of motion. I included the front wheel in the shot to try and indicate motion as the white lettering is blurred.
Thanks for your comments and suggestions!

I've never even been to an event like this let alone photograph one and I know they drive at insane speeds so I can image how difficult capturing these guys are to begin with. That said, I like this but 2 quick suggestions:
1) I would have cropped the top bit of green out
2) Maybe try blurring the background a little more to ephasize a sense of motion
