Just another note, Josh. Every floral photographer I have been fortunate enough to benefit from as a teacher will tell you that it is "what you don't see", particularly in the background, which makes the image. It can be easily corrected with some thoughtful attention. Regards. Anson
This B/W of the lily and bloom bud shows a wide range of interesting tones, well captured but somewhat out of focus. Unfortunately, the brightly lit and darkly striped background, which intersects the outline of the lily makes it very difficult for the viewer to home in on the lily. Sorry, but this image needs a huge amount of work to make it viewable. Anson
