Terrific capture of expression, and sense of place, for a wonderful rural portrait... But here I go again (just tell me to shut up if you are sick of my picky critiques ;-))... I see that you shot this with film, so you have scanned it, and then probably reduced it for the web... You are losing quality along the line, and are not doing justice to this incredible shot. It has digital artifacting in the rear, and an overall low-ish quality digital camera look to it, that I know is not the case. This is either due to a poor scan (what resolution are you scanning at?), or low quality compression for the web... Let me know (by email if you like), if you want to go through your process, to see if maybe I can help you improve the final quality, as your shots so deserve the best treatment possible to do them justice...
