Pat, my challenge was to do a natural shot with available light. I liked the dim fluorescent shop lighting and did not want to disturb the ambience with flash. This new lens will perform well even at wide open f/2.8, and I had room to spare at f/4, ISO 800! There is a problem with the lack of fill which was resolved in photoshop. Reflectors might have done the job, too, but not practical in the tight quarters.

Good shot of your friend, Eb! This is the right time to leave all the "stuff" in the background. As Jose said...it acts as a great documentary of his life. Well done!
