John-Eric: I have consistently (and honestly) admired and critiqued your images. This one, though, (in my opinion) seems a tad bit soft on focus. The 400mm lens may have caused you some issues, though I have no idea what the actual focal length used was as it's not listed. Neither is aperture nor shutter speed. The composition is ok, although the right (or rear) or the lioness is cut off. I would think a tad more saturation is warranted as well. The right side of the lioness is also overexposed . . . losing all details - Overall, my opinion is that you have a great subject here . . but could have had a much better shot. You're (in my opinion) very capable of more.
Regards, Doyle I <~~~~~
