Thank you Danuta for the kind comment on my waterfall photo. The waterfalls are called Pistyll Rhyader and they are near Dolgellau which is a market town in Wales, UK. There is another impressive falls on the other side which I will post another time.

Thanks again

Howie

Thanks for the comment on my photograph Pistyll Rhyader. I actually went out and only had colour film on me (my tri-x was on back order) otherwise it would have been in black and white film :) I aim to go back there shortly to reshoot with black and white film. Thanks once again for your support :)

Wonderful diagonal lines cast by the falls and the flow of the water in this excellent mono toned conversion Howie. It does look great as it is but I'm wondering why you didn't shoot in monochrome. A great landscape study thoughtfully composed. Well done to you. Best wishes....Ray

Another fine waterfall shot, Howie. Exposure, sharpness and speed are spot on. Superior converts very well to black and white, doesn't it?
Regards, Gary

Dunno how you resisted the temptation of colour..but it's effective in black and white, gives it a kind of vintage touch (for me).
