This definitely has the softness that you were describing, eliminating the harsh lines the can be created from certain lighting sources, especially throught the hair and along her left arm. I like the pose and the angles that are created by her arms and leg, great composition and a great image!

I'm not sure for the reflector, maybe the natural light was better... is'n it? However, it's a very good portrait with an excellent model in her pose...

I have formal training in makeup, but it's stage make-up, which is anyting BUT subtle. I need to practice on Margaret, I guess. ;)

I never did much to intentionally pause or set a relaxed mood, and I should have.
Again, thanks for the help.
The next time we do this, Margaret is going to help out with shampoo, curlers, moose and makeup. I sure wish YOU could be the makeup artist on my shoot!

i love the lighting and her expression. paul. gold reflector was a great choice.
but she looks a little stiff in the upper body. like she was sucking in her stomach and sticking out her chest.. have her let out a deep breath and relax her shoulders next time.
