I freely admit to being passionately in love with German Shepherds - this one is a beauty, and the pose made me laugh out loud, it's so typical. :)

Thanks, Chelsea. The apparent overexposure is, I think, the scan. I have a print of this that looks fine and in fact this is my second try at posting this one, with a bit of curves and levels work. I agree: still not quite right, at least on my monitor.

Nice catch on the pose and the expression. Now...we're always wanting catchlights in the eye, but the double light spots in the right eye throws me off a bit. The whole image seems just a bit overexposed as well. In spite of that, I have a German shepherd...so I'm enjoying this shot!
