answer to your question: my favorite optics for BW film work is leitz, and russian contax copies, like jupiter 85/2 lens... in medium format, CZ Jena lenses in P6 mount and Mamiya 330... I like Zeiss Tessar lens, I have one to my Ikonta...I prefer film, but, I use digital for some projects or when I'm short with time..

i think i can understand what are you trying to achieve in this pic Jo... the colors do add towards an abstract result but in my personal opinion (and i do strain the word personal... meaning its simply me and my taste) the overall composition is far too mixed up... all sorts of lines appear and i can“t seem to focus anywhere... sorry my friend but judging from your other work, i think you can do better than that... regards...

Dear Jo,
So very good effects, but I feel you could have cropped a fair amount off the left of the left of the composition. I feel it would have been a more interesting shot as that black hole really doesn't do anything.
