Hi Mary,
I wanted something in front of him so he would look like he was immersed in the scenery. I also waited to catch a hint of light on his sleve. I have other pics of this guy with more light and detail. I will post them when I finish editing.

Me again. I'm glad you did not push away that small twig that is in front of the wizard's elbow. It really helps place him as an integral part of the setting.
