First of a collection of photos taken during last Sunday's procession of El Señor de la Salud y de Las Aguas.A yearly event in which people ask The Almighty for good health,rain and a good harvest.Most people carry candles and some walk barefoot behind the image of the Lord.
Useful comment Wouter,I especially agree about the light on her face acting as the focussing point,I did in fact do a bit of dodging there for just that reason!The problem was the crowd,if I'd stepped back more people would have moved into the space and I couldn't have got a shot of her at all!
I like the way the light falls on the girl. It's a shame the person in front of her is so much distracting. Probably it sounds strange, but i thin you should have zoomed out a bit. The light on the girl would keep her as the focussing point, but the image would give more clues about what is happening.
