Oh yeah ..no problem...the less you say in this situation the better...although I was tempted to ask if I could take their photos....but thought best not to in the end...!

Hmmm. That's the downside of increased security, but I guess we just have to live with it... I guess they also allowed you to take these photos once you identified yourself?

The security people where under instructions to stop question anyone with a camera bigger than a camera phone. Wandering around with the D70 and Lowe backpack I was stopped around 6 times in about 1 hour. They were very nice about it but they are suspicious of people taking shots of entrances and doorways....it was all very "film-like", very serious but I got the shots I wanted...!

Hi Manu, What did you do? Hard to believe it's illegal to shoot those buildings? Or did you interfere with / holding up traffic whilst standing in the middle of the street?
I really like what you achieved in the postprocessing the almost titanium looking glimmer in the buildings make 'm even more overwhelming and impressive than they already are. Excellent composition, too, creating the feeling of immensity (?) combined with the corporate feel of the city.

Its a terrorist, bomb, explosion, panic - kind of thing..!
We've had "complications" in this area before and I think they (security) are there to protect although it is always a weird feeling that Big Brother is watching you...
