I wish he wasn't cropped where he was, but I still like his expression and the photo overall. I agree that the thumbnail doesn't do it justice. Nice catch! (no pun intended!) :-)

Gustaf. The thumbnail doesn't do this justice and I think that's why few have viewed it. A brilliant photo though. Great use on min DOF, perfect detail on the mans face (with what I assume to be splashes of sand) and good strong colourful symbolism in the background. I rate this 9 and will be checking out your portfolio. I just hope others take time out to open this one and enjoy the quality too. PS - Is the background the sea.... this is where I picked up the sand idea from?
