Hi Robert,
I found Zabriskie Point the single most difficult sight in DV to shoot, primarily because the light, which due to the sand structures, and the build up from the vista to the point seems to level / flatten everything.
Only early morning at sunrise I managed to get a somewhat decent shot (but I didn't try this angle, which always seems to work, and is thus one of the most captured compositions, too) The landscape with all those fingers meandering through the area like veins seems so much more alive and fascinating when you're actually there!
I think you've captured the colours exceptionally well, the distance cue to the mountains in the background, with their blue haze is magnificent, and definitely does justice to the scene. Very cool shot.
Cheers,
Hugo

Good depth, rock colours and details to this composition Robert. The foreground range is nicely contrasted against the background mountains. All the best....Ray

That is beautiful! The color of the rocks contrasts well against the blue of the mountains. Interesting pattern formed by the lines.
