I made this photo near my house. And there, I found all the trees you can see here. I'm living in a very likeable region called "Odenwald" [Odin-wood] near Frankfurt/Germany...

Ekkehard. I've looked at your work many times over the past few days but for some reason never commented. So, what should I say that hasn't been said before.......excellent, perfection, (they've all been used). So instead I'll ask a question... where an earth do you keep finding so many beautiful trees? I've spent a few weeks recently scouring the countryside generally to no avail. I truely appreciate a simplistic landscape style and you find this in every shot. Keep posting. Matt.

This is just beautiful. It inspires me to take another look at the pics I've made myself of trees. In BW it's coming out very strong.

Ekkehard, as Christian pointed out, I feel a story in this picture. Almost as if the small one is pay attention to the older's advice.The clouds create a link between both.

You have done it great. This is not just a tree picture, it also is a tree story. I look at the smaller one, and it seems to be approaching the bigger one with a sort of hesitation in his movement, like a child going to his parent at the end of a play. Also, I am pleased by the cloud line that is lower than the trees.
