Hi Richard, The first new car that I bought was a 1969 Toyota Corolla Sprinter. 1100cc green, fastback, 60hp. I'll never forget the price $2,120.00 CDN. You can't even buy an extended warranty for that kind of money now a days. The Corollas have stayed in name only. These little Yaris's remind me of the spirit of those first Toyotas and early Honda Civics. I've been settling in with VW and Audis since my first VW Rabbit in 1978. But every time I see one of these little guys on the road, I feel like going in and picking one up. F1, well... that's a whole different ball game. Watch out for the BMW's next year! Andre
Hi Andre. This IS my Yaris, and I am VERY happy with my purchase. Got it in April to replace an Acura, and have found it to be space and fuel efficient, and a TON OF FUN to drive. If you have any questions, please ask. Mine is a Yaris RS B pkg. with a lowered suspension available from the factory (still a little boy at heart i guess). As a Honda/Acura owner for 25 years it was hard to go over to the dark side, but Toyota has impressed me greatly. Now if they could only get their F1 act together!!!!!!
This is a cute little car. I'll bet it is a lot easy on gas than our half ton truck. Red goes faster, you know. But be careful, Richard, the police are really getting after speeders these days. MAry
