hi ya, tell Max right on! for his great image idea...of course most any image involving books appeals to me instantly, but you did such a good job with the selective focus and composing that this one has extra appeal...his natural looking expression, the whimsical title of book and the books in the BG all work so well together...this should be hanging in libraries, schools and perhaps as a poster for international orgs regarding reading...congrats! regards, gayle
(still no recent emails from our gurl,Ann...having too much fun i suspect!)

Hang on a sec Manu, isn't that the answer to why they lick their b***s??? lol. I'm still getting a handle on what I can do with the lens, but yeah, absolutely perfect for these situations.
Thanks for all your wonderful comments. I'm glad you found a few things that interest you. Feel free to come on over whenever you like! Cheers.

I think the answer is ....because they can....us humans are doing it all the time its just that we falsify it by using expensive perfume etc.. Good use of that awesome lens you have there...well done

Oh, Rina, what a delightful image!
I really like the selective focus in the shot. It is perfect where it is needed most! Well captured!
Thanks, again, for your comments on my images! They are very much appreciated!

very nice capture and the eye really focus on him, his eye is on the book. nice focal point using selctive focus. If this shot was a setup, he is a good actor, you can see his concentration on what he's reading.. good composition Rina..

In my opinion, capturing a child engaged in reading is one of the most beautiful shots ever! Nice, humorous moment, good use of DOF.

What a cool shot Rina. And aptly titled too! (I think it's something to do with dominance according to the Dog Whisperer...) ) I love your selective focus on this, drawing the attention to the young boys face. Good one. Susie
