Hi Ryan, I feel a bit ambiguous about this photo. On one hand, I think the patterns as well as the screaming tones and hard contrast create a very strong graphical image. Yet I think it lacks some refinement and subtlety, in the quality of the photo as well as in the composition; I rarely like centered compositions, so maybe you shouldn't put too much weight on that...:)
When I saw this photo the first time, I decided not to comment on it. Yet it also has a strange appeal, and I've made the decision not to comment for a few more times, until I felt I had to say something as it keeps showing up, and I keep opening it...:) And that is a rare quality of a photo.
So I basically have to revise my opinion. and can only come to one conclusion: to me, it is a good shot, and the features I'm normally not that fond of do have an appealing quality to it...
