Hi Lydia - originally taken on Kodak Ektachrome but about 40 minutes before sunrise, hence the cool colours. No cooling filters applied in PS. Regarding the Macro-converter. It is similar to a tele-converter but it can zoom, providing a magnification ratio of 1:10 to 1:1 on a 50mm normal lens. On my 100mm micro Nikkor lens it gives me almost a ratio of 4 times lifesize and with the ringflash in front I can use it at 1/250th sec and f-stop of up to F18, ISO 200. Hope it explains your question. Regards. Joggie

Well, this is impressive! Now I understand what you mean by "the right equipment" The attachment is the original photo I used before my crop. Did the "cooling filter in Photo Shop" render the lovely blue colour of your background?

You are the water droplet expert, Joggie. I have never seen this effect so pearl like. the cooliong filter is very effective and renders an early morning twilight. Eb

I like the cool look of this. I hope you took this shot with differing degrees of depth of field. I'd be curious to see if this looked stronger with more of the web and dew in focus. Very well captured regardless.

Outstanding capture. I've been wanting to try something like this myself, even going as far as carring a water sprayer to get this effect. I love the color rendition you have here. The water droplets look like glass beads, absolutely stunning. Great shot!!!
Many compliments,...................Mike
