not a lot really basically its two shots of the location layered together.
hopefully the picture attached will help.ill try and keep it simple. ive found when trying to stich two images together it is far better to take two shots of the same location . 1ST take a shot of the lower foreground and then raise the camera higher and making sure you have the same lowest point of the horizon in the frame.this allows you to merge two shots very effectively without to much haze/halo effect in the result. basically when shooting the image do this with this in mind.the end result is cleaner and more effective and offers impact when using a wide angle. hope this helps its far easier to do than explain. brian

By the way looking for the summer sun is really great work, how much work did you do in Ps and how long for?

kind of look at this way you know what you want from a shot and it doesnt hurt to take shots with what you can do later to bring out the features .sometimes we dont have the pefect light around us to get a great all round shot.anyway hope it gave you some thought.

thats better claude more cloud and better contrast revealing the cloud outline.however see attached a quick 5 minute job so nothing spectacular but an example of getting more cloud impact. brian
