It's the rather worried expression that intrigues me about this photograph - not to mention the tidiness of the kitchen!

Paul Read couldn't have described it better. Perfect setting! Makes a nice change from most portraits that are pretty but slightly boring.

Magdalena, I like this image. There is something about it that speaks to many emotions, so I guess that is what makes this a work of art. A great job! Also, your portfolio is a creative effort that suceeds. With regards Ken

Hi Magdelana, I might be reading too much into this shot. I am assuming that it is a portayal of an "imprisoned housewife" Am I right, or way off base?
If I'm close, please check this one out for some additional irony. http://www.usefilm.com/Image.asp?ID=785512 Andre

I really like this, she seems to be sitting so proper and yet there is something wrong perhaps?... it's really intriguing.

I've been looking at your photo for a while. I know the beautiful women helps but everything around her is sort of intriguing. Maybe we are used to see a beautiful girl in some idiotic position with with an unpractical background all the time. Congratulations.

Magdalena!
This is a gripping image.
The kitchen as a room to reflect on what we are and what we could still be.
Hmmm... perhaps a bit like me in my kitchen, except I usually just stand with one hand in the air and the other shoving food about willy-nilly.
Oh, and the tri-pronged plug, so familiar, and the fridge that seems to be the wrong way up to me. (And memories of endless gladiatorial fist-fights to protect the innocent from the pernicious microwave.)
Yeah!
Paul
