Deniz, I don't see a red star beside your name, so I assume you are not a member and cannot see pictures in large format. Am I right? This one has fine noise (grain) added in PS - you may not be able to see it properly in a medium format or small. Best regards, Ina

Thanks very much for your in-depth comments Andrzej, we wandered off yesterday to take some pictures, and Caledonia was a new and interesting place! I'm sure you know this region much better than I do, I find that no matter where I go there is always something to shoot! I dislike digital noise, but this grainy texture is added for a vintage newspaper look, it's different, and sometimes adds atmosphere (I think) to a picture. My best regards, Ina

Thanks so much for your comments, Rina! I'm inspired by seeing so many other people's work, in more than one way, with critiques playing an important role. I don't shoot often, but I take lots of pictures when do I get out, and then have a good selection, and use PS extensively. My older travel pictures came to life with PS, by converting them into B & W, sepia, etc. This bridge is a new picture I shot yesterday - we had very nice spring-like weather, very unusual in January. That in itself was a reason to get out! Thanks very much for visiting my site and boosting my ego :) Best regards, Ina

Ina, seems like we were in Caledonia lately for some photo shooting. The bridge is well presented here, it great architecture of the arches and posts got nice very profesional expression. I like the panoramic strech and great seasoned tones. Noice? I'm not sure, typicaly I'm trying to remove, but ti's play well in the scene. Cheers, n.j

Fabulous image. Great angle/perspective and beautifully done in sepia tones. The grain lends much to the look and feel of the composition. Nice decision to add noise. I like this one a lot.
You are a bottomless pit of creative ideas, Ina! Gosh, I do admire your energy. You give so much of your time to UF members and still manage to shoot more or add new life to old images... What is your secret? :))

Hi Dave and thanks for your comment! I'll be posting next the Studebakers, I'm curious what year you think they might be, I was lucky enough to have sunshine and get some good shots (or so I think :) Here it's very mild (+14C very unusual, but I love it!) Best regards, Ina

Great bridge shot, Ina! I like the angle you took it from and the perspective. The effects you've used give it an interesting "vintage" look. I'll be interested in seeing the Studebaker trucks, as my Dad once had a 1950 Studebaker Champion (car). Dave.

Heh-heh-heh! I don't normally reply to a computer generated message, but this one sounds too much like a girl I used to know - Ann - but I know she's busy studying right now, and I was thinking of her today, because I saw two gorgeous Studebaker pick-up trucks in a field, and thought she may have liked them, but she won't see them likely because she's away from her her computer today and tomorrow. Yeah, too bad Ann isn't there, I would have wished her happy studying, and lots of luck for the test! But I can't tell that to an automated messenger :)

Thanks again Kathy, I had a very good day for shooting today, this bridge and a couple of Studebaker pick-up trucks, plus some railroad tracks and the skeleton barn! I therefore stopped posting the Yellowstone pictures, since these are "fresh from the oven" - best regards, Ina

Thanks very much Paul, it is an interesting structure, it looked like an older bridge, and the sepia was more appropriate than the real concrete colors :) Best regards, Ina

Thank you very much dear Robert for your words of appreciation! It's interesting that you have so much snow, and here we're having unusually warm weather, it wasa good day to go out with the camera, I went to a small town, Caledonia, and found a lot of things to take pictures of. So I will post some of these instead of the old ones from Yellowstone for now. Thanks again, and best wishes, Ina

Brilliant!! Very nice, well photographed interesting architectural composition in sepia tone. Well detailed and captured shot! Very well soluted effect, great treatment. Love your original idea and successful result. How many exciting tiny details, what a fantastic play with lights & shadow. Very plastic and perfect composition in one. Well executed treatment! Very well done dear Ina! Congrats! Saved my favourites! :) 7+++

Really nice perspective on this one Ina. I love the diagonal shadows on the bridge supports. So many line directions in the nice curves in the arches and the verticles in the lamposts along with the horizontals across the bridge makes it all very interesting for the eyes to roam around. Lovely tonal depth. The tones and noise give it the old world of yesteryear feel to it. Great job. Very nice image Ina.
Ann is not really here right now. She is busy studying. This is an automated computer generated comment. Reply not necessary.

Nice one Ina! The bridge almost looks like it is floating in space for just a second because of the shadows on the supports. ) I like the graininess in this one too. I love your new series of panos. They are ALL very well done. Susie
