Ann, I do have an image showing more at the top of the falls. It is more of a steep stream and as such there is no upper pool. I liked the rock wall as well, but I think it was a man made cutting for the forestry road. At this point the stream has cut across the road and effectively blocked further progress on this outing.

I always love a nice waterfall shot. This has some great frozen water action with the faster shutter speed. It works really well with the great textured rock wall. That almost looks like petrified wood instead of rock. Most unusual texture. I would have liked to have seen a little more of the waterfall at the top but perhaps conditions at the time didn't allow for any more of the waterfall to be captured at the top. A lovely scene very well captured Eb.
Cheers - Ann :)

Superb image with great detail, saturated colour, contrasting texture and a very effective composition. One tends to look at the rock - contrasting drastically with the water and then realise it was sculpted by that same water. Great work. Joggie

Excellent shot of the water cascading into the lake, Eb! You've captured some nice detail in the rocks, as well. Dave.
