excellent capture...i like the colour and the background.....i heard old age is like a peak of mountain he reachs on the top of human consiciouness where he has experienced all that is possible hence the glow and beauty appears in composed manner even when all has taken from him ....in spritual sence he has surrendered to like now going dancing towards death.....

Increasing the contrast does increase the saturation, I find. Your light here is excellent, and the overall result striking, and of course the glow is what you were after. The red-orange, though, seems just enough exaggerated to distract me from the natural beauty of the dried leaves themselves, artificial instead of accented, like a bit too much makeup... Still a beautiful image, Alison. I guess I'm nit-picking!

A beautiful winter composition, Alison. The saturation may be a bit too high for me, but I do love the foreground/background contrast and the clarity of the leaf veining. Very nice.
