Hi Jeanette,
the sign really brings in some tension in the image. I like the red/blue contrast here and the basement appartment with the trees =)

Hi Jeanette...I love the simplicity of this shot. Wonderful details and gorgeous colours, particularly the red against that stunning rich blue sky. A different kind of subject for you but such are the Winter blues. Looks great and I love it (I also love your new bio pic...very nice)

Very beautiful image Jeanette, invoking the sun and the spring to come sooner!
Great idea of the lifesaver, we all need sunshine, warmth and to see the blue sky. Great colors and superb clarity! The lifesaver looks surreal in a place with a forest background, not seeing the water or knowing that there is a beach nearby, it seems to be also an ecological S.O.S. for clean air or the forest.

Maybe if you try hard enough to hurry Spring with your colorful shots it will help. If so...KEEP IT UP!!! We had a break in the rain today and I grabbed my camera and went for a drive. Don't know if I got anything worthwhile, but it felt good to get out!

nice break
i like that you take the trees as an horizontal base to the composition..and then you use the vertical element from the risk ring ( which gives a great contrast by the RED colors to the blue)
the shape of the rob adds a lot
and the proportions are very well composed as well
i like it
