Hey Hugo- I agree with the top of the shrubs comment--it does kind of create an imbalance. But I felt like it was more important to get the mud bank in the bottom left hand corner--I did capture this image without the bank and with the inclusion of the shrubs but the photo just seemed really naked to me with out the bordering mud leading into the eye of the viewer. Thanks for the comments and i'm still going through your portfolio, amazing photo's!

Hi Michael, this is very close to what I meant with my reply; creating a guiding line.... A pitty you cut off the top of the shrubs in the top right corner of the image, as I believe that unbalances the composition a bit, but the reflection (introducing a strong third line) does make up to that. Very nice curves on the left bank of the Colorado River, too. Great shot.
