I like my D70, it does the job well. My last camera was a Pentax Spotmatic II from the 70's and it still works well as it did for years. I wonder if the D70 will last as long... Things seem so impermanent these days!

Thank you for your comment. I saw your pictures and I must tell I like them very very much. There is a touch of surrealism with those clouds, like in the movie Vanilla Sky. Those geese for exemple are amazing. Do you have a web site?

For some reason I had the feeling from the thumbnail that this is in Quebec, such a calm lake frozen to the distant is something I'm looking forward to shoot. Very beautiful image! love your composition especially with the sun and few clouds.

Nice picture Daniel ...would have cropped more then half of the frozen lake off....showing more clouds on top with the sun. Hope you are enjoying your D70 as much as what I am enjoying mine. The more you play with it the deeper you fall in love with it...it is an awsome camera. Best regards Hilton
