Hi Mark, glad you like the crop. I tried many different versions before settling on this one. The 'village' that you see is actually the Swayambhunath Stupa, one of the holiest Buddhists sites in the world. The construction is relatively new, with stress on the word 'relatively', but the main structure that houses the holy relic is reputed to be over two thousand years old! According to local lore, the Stupa was "always there". "Swayambhu", a Sanskrit word, means "The One who was created out of His own self".
