Sorry for replying so late, the image quality of the D 500 is very good, almost as good as the D7200, which was the best apc sensor that I ever used

Did you compare the resolution of the D7200 with the resolution of the D300 ?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I came across some messages where Nikon users stated the resolution of the D500 was not so good as older types like the D300.

Wolf, I thought about the D500, but do not need the extra speed and do not want to gave up the resolution of the D7200
