It's ironic Avi - I corrected the off-verticals with PT Lens - it's pretty funny actually. It's what makes our hobby (mine anyway) so absorbing and of infinite interest :)
Best wishes.

Avi, to be quite candid, I am humbled and slightly embarrassed by the recent awards that have been given to me. Naturally, I appreciate them hugely, and of course I have been encouraged and inspired by the many notable photographers here on UF - both by their comments and example - you are but one of them, and I thank you for it personally, given that you commented first.
What really strikes me is the vast amount of talent here on UF, the sheer quality of most of the work which is submitted every single day. This is why I am humbled.
Lest I cause any further awkwardness I shall not name names, BUT it was another photographer whose work I greatly admire who suggested that I switch this photo to the "Lines" Project (I had put it in in a far less appropriate one).
Warmest regards, and many thanks for your straight and honest comment, and to UF for this signal encouragement.
Anthony

Dear Anthony, the use of the straight verticals and horizontals is a little boring to me (as you know by now how quirky I can be.. lol..), but no denying the fact that the the 3-d feel is there and that the composition suits the project perfectly.
Congrats on your BIP ! cheers, Avi

It's funny Philip, because I was about to make time to look with more attention at your work - knowing your reputation, and having it at the back of my mind - both to appreciate and to learn from. There are many coincidences this evening, it's rather odd!
Best wishes,
Anthony

Hi Anthony
You have some great images in your portfolio!
I like this image....the angle at which you've captured the buildings gives a real feeling of depth and perspective.
Nice tones!
Cheers
Phil
