About It's time.
Time for us to be rounded up.
Time for us to be naked.
Time for teasing, and cries of shame.
It's time for Joe to make us clean.

If you are good, the water is warm.
If you are bad, the water is cold.

It's time.

We call it the Fish Table.
Cause Joe said he used to gut fish on a table just like this...and watch em' wiggle.

I'm good, though.
Cause I'm afraid.
I'm afraid if Joe cuts me open...he'll see whats inside me.

Appreciate your comments, Ian! I've always seen your words as rather complex and dark....we understand each other. ...Brad

Incredible room, incredible image...for a moment, I felt like I was a patient, viewing the room in a surreal, but detached moment, struggling against my mind, against the meds to make sense of the incomprehensible...a world with wrong dimensions, viewed through a warped mirror. Removed, but present. And beneath it always, fear.

Unforgetable series, Brad...I dreamt about it last night.

Thank you for your thoughtful insight, Karen! I was also taken back, though not surprised, by the flowers pasted on this "tub". An effort, no doubt, to calm those being attended to... As for the horizontal "noise", I wanted to convey a feeling of detatchment...or that feeling of observing from an isolated vantage point.
..Brad

WOW Brad those words and this image almost take you there, creepy, awesome image and rich tones...excellent job of simplifying, it really tells the story, and your words...whoa...really good stuff, I like the treatment, it really adds to the image, and the story...very well done..hugs...Linda

Such a shallow tub that no doubt it looks more like a place to be operated on rather than to relax. Its odd to see what appears at painted on flowers at the foot of the tub, rather cheery for such a disturbing space. Its interesting the horizontal lines added to the image, as if I am a security guard watching the room through a tv set. Well done as always~
