Wow, another great frame by my lovely lady. Highly moody...silhouette has cut just right...very distinctive artifacts for a coherent story telling....great play of light and excellent colors..did u use a gradation filter??

I had noticed the different feel to your shots Judi... much more in the reporter style as opposed to this artistic style. Greatt shot of James - isn't it interesting how our fellow photographers can sometimes make for great subjects!

Oh wow Judi! I'm missing lots of your photos! Just catching up.
I just love this one! You captured beautiful colors! I was wondering... did you manipulate the colors of the sun set? Did you actually vissually see the sky like this? How did you manage to capture excellent colors of it?
The photo sets a beautiful mood. Makes me want to catch adventure you guys go thru! Great equipment; it nicely shaped to the background.
I'm also trying to make attempts for this assignment too Judi. Just caught a wonderful sunset in one of my photos. Judi, this assignment is you. You are really strong in this feild of photography.

Thanks Roland for your suggestion. I wanted to try and keep it intact as to the way I took it. I am really becoming more in control of my cameras abilities and am really working on improving that.
I usually work with a tripod with sunsets, because of the filters and the long shutter speeds...and of course the shakes from the cold air.

Hello Judi, the other image posted is fantastic. Just an opinion on this, since sky has no clouds & dominates most of frame I'd crop less than a quarter off the top. Nice silhouette of James, shooting landscapes with a tripod is SOP for me, hassle to carry it around but the rewards definitely outweigh the inconvinience. Cheers & best wishes.
