Fernando,
What magazine? They can always print a smaller version in its appropriate size. Don't give up the good angle for size in a magazine. The composition and lighting will set you apart from others, make it your own. Let the magazine crop it if they want.

You are totally right. I'm planing to go back there and shoot this agai with another flash to light his face up. And I really like horizontal in this spot in particular, but this photo is for a single page in a magazine, so...

Fernando,
Getting better again. I like the overexposed flash alot. It adds to the contrast of the photo and really makes the skater pop. But I really wish I could see his face. Perhaps setting the flash closer to the ground so it rises up and exposes his face.
The comp is a little goofy. Maybe Horizontal next time. But the flash, stop and blur motion are all great. Nice work. Lets see some more.

Wonderful composition with a cool striped background.. have anymore with more of the stairs in them ? They look pretty wild.
