An intriguing abstract, very much deserved BIP. You have a photographic eye, well seen and perfectly composed. What I dont get is the ISO 800 and short exposure time - was is by chance, or what did you aim at with this setting ?

Dear Paul, Congrats on the BIP. Works very well as an architectual Abstract. I was thinking if you turned this one into a B / W and reposted it later you can start a portfolio (along with that very industrial one a ways back with the giant wrench in it) calling it something like Old Eastern Europe / USA. You remember what E. Berlin looked like - gray, cement, etc. I don't know, think it would be an interesting idea. BTW, your Favorite Leader's Birthday is today - So Happy Birthday to him. The focal point is the steam breaks the geometry of the composition perfectly...The details in that steam are nicely captured and presented...what I love is how that steam gets lost to the clouds and the pattern continues in the sky. Thanks for the smile. Cheers, Gerhardt
