Erdek must be one of the most quiet places on earth. as i was taking this photo, the sun was rising behind me, and there wasn't much light, so i used a tripod. the dominating blue color is because of white balance which was at tungsten light as i took this one. i used a polarizer filter but it was rotated to an angle that it made no effect on sea. Erdek has a good sea and nature, and it is just 2 hours from istanbul with fast ferry. the Kapidag Peninsula is like paradise with pine forests and clean, saltless sea. the island in the photo is the tavsan(rabbit) island, without any creatures but some rabbits living on. this weekend, the biggest event organized in erdek was happenning, the internetional triathlon of erdek.
More than wonderful capture Kaan, I like the composition and the deep blue allot, Actually I've taken a picture similar to it, with some difference of course, but the concept is the same, Cheers,
