About	Mono Lake is a primary nesting site for California Gulls. They nest on the islands, and feed on a small shrimp that lives in the salty lake. I think the green color of the lake is from algae that the shrimp feed on. Polarizing filter, 2/3 stop underexposed. PS = crop; minor adjustment to brightness and contrast.
