Thanks for the suggestion Dan. I did notice the same thing, if you are indeed talking about the leaf with so much sun glare on it. I had thought about cropping it then decided not to, I guess I should have. Is this one more what you had in mind?

The light in the middle of the flower looks good, but the leaf on the top right is disracting. Get closer (if your camera can), or just recompose so that leaf isn't there. The red really jumps out.
