She looks like she's about ready to take off again... peering out into the distance to see what's over there.
Shooting a black dog can be a challenge to get detail in the coat while keeping the rest of the image from being blown out. I think this is handled very nicely, and as Dirck mentioned the sheen of her coat is beautiful.

Well, I'm surprised nobody has commented on Tailor - as a dog lover, I'd be remiss not to! :) He's a fine looking dog, and I like how you captured his vigor and alertness in this shot! You also captured the sheen of his coat nicely - nice range of tones for such a dark subject!
