About Daisies are my favorite flower and I've seen quite a few really great daisy images on this site the past few weeks. I especially like photographs of the back of the flower. So, here is my attempt. Just a little cropping in PSP.

Beautiful presentation, Laurie--the angle of the flower, perspective of the shot, the shadows, the background.

Linda,
Thanks! I tried this one in black and white as well, but the color worked a lot better with the background. I think daisies are the happiest of all flowers and I can't help but smile whenever I see them. Glad you liked this one. :)

Lovely sculptural quality to the petal forms with the shadowing and light. Pretty, pretty soft buttery yellow.

You have a fabulous touch for finding the best of an image Laurie. This is a lovely photo and refreshing in that it doesn't show the more usual (cliche?) view of the front. Lovely fine detail, perfect exposure and excellent composition make this a winner in my view...

Thanks P.J.! I should probably be more careful when I choose my words. When I said that I liked images that focused on the back of the flower, I didn't mean focus in the photographic sense. I just meant that I liked pictures of the back of the flower. Although the image probably would have been better if my focus was crisp on the petals and the green furry part. I'm still working on appropriate shutter speeds and apertures. For me its still a lot of trial and error when it comes to that.
